Bluebird Care South Tyneside is supporting Diabetes Awareness Week 2016, an annual campaign led by Diabetes UK, from 12 – 18 June.
Bluebird Care South Tyneside is supporting Diabetes Awareness Week 2016, an annual campaign led by Diabetes UK, from 12 – 18 June.
Diabetes UK is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes. As well as being one of the largest funders of diabetes research in the UK, the charity provides information and support to help people with diabetes to manage their condition effectively.
The theme of this year’s campaign is ‘Setting the record straight’. Although around 4 million people have been diagnosed with diabetes in the UK, there are many myths and misconceptions about the condition.
