Daughter raises funds for MND

Sarah’s Dad was a former customer of Bluebird Care South Tyneside and we are honoured to have been able to help keep him at home.

Good luck to one of our former customers Daughter Sarah Sexton who is raising funds for Motor neurone disease (MND) by shaving her hair off this Sunday. What a great tribute for her Dad.

For those of you who don't know, MND affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do. There is currently no cure, and gradually your body begins to shut down. MNDA is a charity raising money for researching a cure for MND and providing support and care for sufferers and their families.
