One of our longest care assistants, Christine Graham has finally decided to retire. We say finally, as she had already retired before she first joined the Bluebird Care Family back in February 2012.

Wishing Christine all the best for whatever retirement has in store for her.
One of our longest care assistants, Christine Graham, has finally decided to retire… We say 'finally', as she had already retired before she first joined the Bluebird Care Family back in February 2012.
Since then, Christine has worked tirelessly providing the very best care for our customers and she has helped so many people.
It has been an absolute pleasure to be apart of the Bluebird team for so long. I have worked with and cared for some truly amazing people along the way. Now its time to enjoy my second retirement... I think this time I'll see it out properly. Thank you for 8 great years.

12,000 smiles made
Since joining Bluebird in 2012 she has provided over 12,000 care visits. This in on average 8 care visits per day worked since she started! Which is truly amazing, and those of you that have been lucky enough to work with Christine would know that is 12,000 visits where she would have been a smile maker and made such a positive impact on all of the customers she visited.
She will be sorely missed by the whole team and especially the customers who she supports and cares for. Christine has been such a breath of fresh air and a huge part of Team Bluebird.

Under different circumstances, we would have loved to have the send Christine deserved, but sadly, because of COVID restrictions this was not possible. So David Haswell, Director of Bluebird Care Newcastle & South Tyneside went to say goodbye personally with a socially distanced flower drop-off.
'Christine has been a big part of the team. Joining Bluebird in 2012 has meant she has been a part of our growth as a team and we will all be sad to see her go. Good luck for retirement Christine, you should be proud of all of the hard work and dedication you have shown over the past 8 years'.
