Care Newcomer Nomination

This is the fourth week of our Proud Moments Reflection series. Today we wanted to reflect on when we nominated Lisa Hibberd, one of our care assistants, for the Care Newcomer Award.

Lisa Hibberd, Care Newcomer Award

The Care Newcomer Award is awarded to a new team member that has had a positive impact on their place of work. Lisa only recently joined Bluebird Care in July 2021 and has settled into the role exceptionally well. She has very quickly built a wonderful rapport with our customers, and she is able to put them at ease – which is a highly desirable and beneficial trait in the care industry.

Our customers, as well as our staff, have often commented about how capable Lisa is and they have shared that she never fails to put a smile on their faces because of her fun-loving personality. Lisa has been very flexible and is always willing to help out whenever a need arises. She works well with our other carers, and they enjoy working with her.

Lisa is such a big character, and she is great to work with.

There is never a dull moment when you work with Lisa!

For the reasons mentioned above, we put Lisa forward for the Care Newcomer Award. We are so proud to have her on our team!
