Memory Walk 2015: Wakefield

Bluebird Care (Wakefield) gathered a team together to take part in a Memory Walk on Sunday 6th September.

Bluebird Care (Wakefield) gathered a team together to take part in a Memory Walk on Sunday 6^th September. Our group of enthusiastic fundraisers walked 3km around Pugney’s Country Park to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

           

We were treated with fantastic weather to begin our walk, and everyone arrived full of energy and ready to go! The Bluebird Care team included care workers new and old, family and friends, and even a four-legged volunteer, complete with t-shirt!
In total we have managed to raise over £100 and counting for Alzheimer’s society. Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia support charity, providing essential information, guidance and support for people suffering from dementia.
