Customer Insights into Recruitment

We have undertaken a customer survey to get their views on recruitment. We asked a simple but very important question... "What would you want to ask a prospective carer before joining our team?"

It has been a really insightful and interesting exercise. 5 Key themes have emerged which you can see in the poster above. These themes will be embedded in our recruitment (interview) and onboarding (induction) processes for all new starters moving forwards.

They will also be mapped across to our Bluebird Care 'House of Values' which applies to all staff (code of conduct). These principles align closely with our existing brand values and company ethos, which reaffirms we are very much in touch with our customers and what they are looking for in a Care Assistant.

The mission of this project was to find a way of giving our customers a voice in influencing our future care assistant recruitment decisions. We will put this valuable feedback to good use. It will help us to improve our hiring processes by asking the right questions that our customers want to know.
