The Care Workers Charity was founded in 2009 with the objective of supporting current and former care workers with one-off hardship grants.
Bluebird Care have joined the Care Workers Charity Supporters Club and have made them Bluebird Care’s charity of the year for 2018.
The Care Workers Charity is there for current, former and retired care workers, who are experiencing financial hardship. With nearly 2 million care workers in the UK looking after some of the most vulnerable people in our society and faced with a mentally and physically demanding role, it is no secret that this dedicated and selfless workforce can struggle when unexpected events and circumstances arise.
Bluebird Care made the decision to partner up with the care workers charity to enhance the support we provide as an organisation to our care teams across the UK. With over 200 offices across the UK our amazing team of individuals care passionately and make quality care at home possible every single day. By working with the Care Workers Charity, we can ensure there is also someone there for them in a time of need.
The Care Workers Charity proudly aims to make a difference, working towards their mission that no care worker ever faces financial hardship alone, providing Bluebird Care employees with hardship grants, online information, as well as tools on money troubles to health and wellbeing.
