We are proud to announce that our care teams have now received their first Covid-19 vaccine dose. We have reached a significant milestone in the pandemic and we look forward to better days ahead.

As previously mentioned, we know that being vaccinated means you're much less likely to become ill with coronavirus. This is hugely reassuring for both our staff and customers, who all continue to play their part in the fight against this invisible enemy.

Whilst world-leading experts are cautiously optimistic, there is some early evidence also suggesting that vaccination can reduce the rate of transmission, which is encouraging. But until more definitive data on the efficacy of the vaccination programme becomes available, current government measures on infection prevention, certainly within health & social care settings, will understandbly remain in place.

Here at Bluebird Care Rushcliffe & Melton we are fully aware that now is not the time to 'drop the ball'. Whilst we are immensely proud of how far we've come in this past 12 months, our primary job will always be to keep our customers and staff safe and protected.
