Meet the team
Sean and Heather Price
Graduates of Cambridge and Manchester Universities respectively, Sean and Heather set up their company in 2013 after decades of senior management experience in the public sector. They chose the care sector in order to focus upon making a positive difference to people’s lives in the local community.
When not in the office, both enjoy spending time with family, and also watching and taking part in various sports. In 2018, Heather completed the London Marathon raising over £2,500 for the Institute for Cancer Research in London.
Registered Care Manager
Kerry has worked in the Care Industry for 10 Years, before this she worked as Senior Management in the Hospitality Industry. Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Kerry moved to Yorkshire in January 2020. Kerry has a Level 8 BA (Hons) Degree in Social Science and a Level 5 Diploma in Care Skills and Care Management and a Level 5 Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. Kerry started her career in Domiciliary Care as a Care Coordinator and quickly worked her way up. Kerry has worked as Registered Care Manager for 7 Years and loves to provide the best quality care and keep people happy in their homes for as long as possible.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys travelling, music and catching up with friends and family.
Live-in Care and Training Manager
Jules has worked in nursing and health care for over 10 years. Having joined Bluebird Care when the company started in December 2014, Jules has worked her way up the ladder from care assistant to supervisor and now to her current role as our Training and Live-in Care Manager.
Jules finds it a great joy to see the newly trained care assistants grow and develop to support our customers from the comfort of their own homes. Jules has Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and Train the Trainer qualifications in Medication Management, Moving and Handing and first aid. Outside of work Jules loves looking after and caring for her garden.
Lauren started her career with Bluebird Care in 2017 as a care assistant. After 18 months she progressed and gained a promotion to Field Care Supervisor in 2018 for Bedale, Catterick and Richmond before her current role as Care Co-ordinator.
For Lauren, building close relationships with our care assistants and enabling customers to remain at home for as long as possible is the most rewarding part of her role. Lauren always knew that she wanted to work in the care industry and support the elderly and vulnerable since caring for relatives when she was younger. Lauren has completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care and Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health. Lauren is extremely family orientated and loves walking her two dogs in her spare time; Summer and Buzz.
Lauren has returned from maternity leave and is working 4 days a week across flexible hours.
Field Care Supervisor
Luke joined the team in December 2019, Luke started his career in care over 10 years ago. Luke is our Field Care Supervisor for Bedale, Catterick and Richmond Areas, Luke does also support with rotas when our Care Coordinator Lauren is not at work.
What drove Luke to working for Bluebird Care is knowing he can actively create a better quality of life for our customers by ensuring their needs are met. By conducting regular assessments and reviews, Luke makes sure that our customers and their families receive the best level of care and support possible. Luke has completed his Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care on a fast-track scheme. Outside of work Luke is active in the community. Luke enjoys spending time with his nephew, godchildren and his dogs.
Field Care Supervisor
Fiona joined the team in May 2022! Fiona started her career at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and has worked her way from Care Assistant, to Supervisor before joining our team as the Field Care Supervisor for Northallerton, Thirsk and Easingwold Areas!
I have always worked with people and I been in care since the start of the pandemic. Since then, I have immersed myself in training to gain as much knowledge as I can to aid me in my ability to help support my clients better. I have recently completed my Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I pride myself on ensuring I try my best for the people I support and will always do my best to help.
When I am not at work, I love nothing better than to be out and about with the family, gardening or doing a bit of DIY!
