January 2022 COVID-19 Update

Covid-19 Announcement Regarding Return to Plan A - 20th January 2022

We at Bluebird Care Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick hope you are well and keeping safe.

As you may be aware, the government announced 19th January 2022  that it intends to lift “Plan B” restrictions in England from next week.

Whilst this may be welcome news to some, we appreciate that this may be a source of concern and apprehension to others. We just wanted to reassure you that our Bluebird Care assistants will not be subject to any changes in terms of provision and wearing of PPE and other health and safety measures; and any staff who may test positive will still be required to isolate as per the existing guidance.

All of our Bluebird Care care assistants take lateral flow tests weekly, and are encouraged to take twice weekly lateral flow tests.

We will continue to do everything we can to keep customers and staff safe from Coronavirus. The only change we are making is to return to normal office working, albeit still with screens, social distancing, and mask-wearing in place.

Thank you for your patience during the periods of time when we have needed to put in place partial remote working. This has been much appreciated.

Our carers have all been briefed regarding correct usage of their PPE, however if you have any queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to get contact with the office by calling 01845 440271 or emailing hambletonandrichmondshire@bluebirdcare.co.uk
