We are delighted to announce that due to the success of the recent iPad for beginners course run by Age UK and hosted at our premises; we will be hosting two more in March and April!

The course is part of an initiative by Richmond Council and delivered by Age UK to encourage IT use by older people across the borough

We were delighted to support the 4 week iPad beginner’s courses which took place in November 2015 and January 2016. The course provided attendees with assistance in setting up your iPad, understanding the settings and generally how to get more out of using an iPad.

Due to the popularity and success of these courses, Age UK have asked us to host two more 4 week courses starting 1st March and 12th April 2016.

Using an iPad can help people keep in touch with their extended family through e-mail, social media and face to face calls. This can reduce the sense of isolation felt by many people and contributes hugely to their general wellbeing. We’re honoured and excited to be able to help local residents to become part of the ‘silver surfer’ generation.

The next course will take place from the 1st March 2016 on Tuesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at Bluebird Care, Twickenham. The cost of the course is £25.
