We are continuing in offering fair futures for our care assistants therefore we have taken a step by offering a pay rise that reflects their time, efforts, and dedication.

In a move aimed at recognising the invaluable contributions by our care assistants and ensuring their continued dedication, Bluebird Care Newcastle, rated CQC Outstanding, have announced a significant pay rise for our staff and additional paid travel time. As an employer we have always paid fairly, but we want to continue this into the future, the increased wage and travel time is a huge difference for our carers. 

The decision comes amidst growing recognition of the essential role played by care assistants in supporting vulnerable individuals within communities. Effective April 1st, Bluebird Care Newcastle has implemented a substantial pay increase for its care assistants across all levels, with the aim of showing how valued they are within the realm of care.
