Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund
Our new Community Partner for 2018 is the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. In Spring 2018 by holding a "50:50" competition whereby squares on a grid are sold for £2.00 per square; when all the squares are sold, a winner is selected at randon. Half the money raised goes to the winner and the other half to the charity.
Funds raised contribute emotional, welfare and financial support through care grants to families with a child going through cancer treatment or palliative care. Money raised will also partly fund respite care for families or short holidays for the family to take a child for a fun week away from the trauma of their treatment.
