Young Carers Bromley
Carers Bromley supports carers of all ages living in the London Borough of Bromley. The Young Carers Service supports young people who are aged between 4-18 years and who live in a family where someone is affected by a long term illness, disability, mental health issue, alcohol or substance misuse or HIV.
We offer free spaces to Carers Bromley at each Skills Assessment & induction program for new Care Assistants.
We also run fundraisers with all proceeds going towards giving their young carers a day’s experience doing something they have always wanted to do. Young Carers Bromley are for young children who are primary carers for parents and other family members and who, because of their on-going responsibilities, rarely get to enjoy the freedoms often taken for granted by their peers.
We have raised over £1000 for them through our Summer BBQ raffles and other events.
