Steve
My background was in professional services and I first came across the Care sector as a customer for my elderly loved ones. This experience persuaded me that Care could be “done better” and this led me to establish Bluebird Care’s offices in Bromley, Sevenoaks and Lewisham/Southwark. I am determined that our offices provide an excellent and responsive service to our customers from an organisation offering a supportive and rewarding environment in which committed people can develop and thrive.

Ben
I’ve worked in Home Care since 2011, driven by the desire for a vocation which has a positive impact on people’s lives and society as a whole. While the sector brings its fair share of challenges (primarily due to public sector underfunding), we’ve chosen to operate in the private-pay space so we can set our own high standards and properly invest in the service, and in our people. I’m proud to lead a team in which many of our senior staff have risen through the ranks. Their dedication and compassion reflect the values-led, supportive culture that we’ve built – one that’s always striving for excellence. As a franchisee, it’s a privilege to be part of a brand whose values reflect our own. Our mission is simple: to make Bluebird Care the Home Care provider of choice in every community that we serve, and the awards we’ve won, our CQC reports, and the heart-warming feedback from our customers all speak to the consistent high quality of care that we provide.
At Bluebird Care Bromley, we’re dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalised care that makes a real difference.

Leah, Operations Manager
Leah is an ex-Registered Nurse and was our Coordinator and Deputy Manager at our sister branch in Sevenoaks from 2011-2018, and Registered Manager in Bromley from 2020-2022. Leah is a natural leader and was the natural choice when we decided to appoint an operations Manager in mid-2022, tasked with overseeing the Care operations of our 3 businesses (Bromley, Sevenoaks, Lewisham & Southwark), ensuring alignment of process and adherence to policies in order to deliver an outstanding level of Care. Leah loves the “family feel” of the business, the camaraderie amongst her teams, and the satisfaction that comes with knowing that their collective efforts make a real difference to people’s lives. She relishes the responsibility, challenges and learning opportunities that come with being the manager of the Registered Managers of 3 regulated services! She’s a strong advocate of continued professional development and describes the training regime in place as “the best I’ve experienced throughout my career”, and feels that the continuity and retention rate within the current team speaks for itself.

Hannah oversees our 3 franchises (Bromley, Sevenoaks and Lewisham) and aims to use her acquired knowledge to promote outstanding and consistent levels of care across the business through attention to detail and collaborative working. Hannah speaks highly of the team members at Bluebird Care and is enjoying getting to know more about our valued customers. Hannah actively promotes the happiness of her customers and care team and likes to take the time to ensure that individuals feel appreciated and heard. Hannah has a strong background in compliance and process and uses this as a tool to confirm that the care being provided promotes the safety and person-centered approach for our customers which is forefront of consideration. Hannah doesn’t take for granted how much responsibility comes with the role of Operations Manager, and uses her position to strive for high quality care services both within our domiciliary and live-in care settings. Hannah takes pride in knowing that her role contributes to the overall wellbeing of our customers and team members.

Jordanna, Care Manager
I always knew that I wanted to work in the caring professions. I’m passionate about improving the life experience of vulnerable people, and I’ve been fortunate in being able to advance within the company after joining as a Care Assistant. I’m now the Registered Manager of Bromley office, which is a great responsibility, but one that I love. My role is to ensure that our team are identifying and surpassing customer needs and that the office staff and the care team are fully supported, highly skilled and motivated.

Veronica, Deputy Manager
My career in care began from a deeply personal place—caring for my mother. That experience ignited a passion for supporting others, and I soon began working as a Care Assistant. Balancing family life with caregiving, I found immense fulfilment in improving the quality of life for those I supported. In 2012, I progressed to the role of Field Care Supervisor, working across various boroughs within the community for social services. This role deepened my understanding of community-based care and allowed me to develop strong leadership and coordination skills. In 2021, I joined Bluebird Care as a Care Supervisor—my first experience in the private care sector. I embraced the new environment and quickly adapted, enjoying the opportunity to bring my public sector experience into a new setting. In 2022, I was promoted to Lead Care Supervisor, taking on greater responsibilities and contributing to service improvements and staff development. Most recently, in 2025, I was proud to be promoted to Deputy Manager. This role allows me to lead with compassion, mentor others, and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered consistently.
For me, outstanding care starts with listening to our customers and our team. When people feel heard and valued, we create the kind of environment where everyone can thrive.
Hannah, Operations Manager

Before joining the care sector, I worked as a consultant for various marketing agencies and within finance. These roles gave me a solid foundation in communication, strategy, and business development. My personal experience caring for ageing parents, alongside my sister, deeply influenced my career path. I work closely with our team to attract new clients, recruit compassionate carers, and monitor performance to ensure our outreach makes a real difference. Originally from Japan, I’ve been proud to call the UK home for over 20 years. During the Covid lockdown, I embraced a career change and retrained in accounting, earning my AAT Level 3 Diploma. I joined Bluebird Care in March 2025 as an Accounts Assistant and quickly took ownership of understanding and supporting our finance processes. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and proud to contribute to a team that leads with compassion, professionalism, and purpose.
