The World's Biggest Coffee Morning!

On Friday 25 Sept, 2015, Bluebird Care Bromley participated in Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. 

On Friday 25 Sept, 2015, Bluebird Care Bromley participated in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people fighting cancer. Macmillan ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. In 2014, the campaign raised £25 million and in 2015 they aimed to raise even more.

Our Coffee Morning ran running from 10am - 4pm and was open to... Everyone! That's right. We welcomed all our community care workers to pop in and say hello and enjoy a cup of coffee and slice of cake, but we were equally happy to welcome new faces to our new training facility at 50c Chatterton Road, Bromley.

This was a great opportunity for those interested in joining our award-winning Care team, or people who's family or friends were in need of some support at home, to come and get to know us. 

Many thanks to everyone who baked and popped in to support us, with special thanks to Care Supervisor Jo Doxford for organising our participatoin and galvanisig the troops! We're please to announce that we raised over £100 for Macmillan - that's over 100 slices of cake that were consumed!
