Supporting our local foodbank
In December 2020 we fundraised and donated £500.00 for our local foodbank; Leeds North and West Foodbank. Our local foodbank opened in 2013 and delivers thousands of emergency food parcels to people and their families across Leeds, who find themselves in food poverty. We were delighted to support the foodbank running up to Christmas when foodbanks had seen huge increase in the number families needing help with basic provisions, due to the COVID19 pandemic.
Proud Sponsors of the End2End Challenge
In 2016 Bluebird Care Leeds North in conjunction with other Yorkshire franchises sponsored a couple of cyclists Paul Terry and Stephen Hinchliffe to ride from John O’Groat’s to Lands End to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Research UK.
Paul and Stephen for completed the End2End challenge which saw them do a 1000 mile cycling ride starting in Landsend and ending in John O'Groats over 9 days starting from Friday 6th May.
They have managed to reach their goal and raised a total of £2713.97 for the two charities.
