Bluebird Care Leeds North is led by Sheree Jenman.
Sheree would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or from anyone who would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Sheree brings a wealth of professional management expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to owning Bluebird Care Leeds North, Sheree was a Quality Manager with the Bluebird Care Franchise Support Centre, providing advice and support to around forty Bluebird Care franchises in the North and East Midlands region.
Bringing with her, 18 year's experience in the health and social care sector in a variety of roles, Sheree initially worked as a front-line Support Worker, Registered Manager and then Senior Manager of multiple services. She worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for a large Yorkshire based Housing Association and then started her journey with Bluebird Care working for the Franchise Support Centre before investing in her own Bluebird Care franchise in early 2019.
A career in the social care sector has given Sheree the opportunity to lead a range of services including domiciliary care, care homes, extra care, supported living and day services and has experience of working with older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, chaotic lifestyles and children and families.
Throughout her career, Sheree gained vital knowledge of the care industry and understands what excellent care looks like and more importantly, the impact that poor care has on the people who receive it.

Registered Care Manager
My name is Sophie and I am the Care Manager here. I started at Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant in 2012 and absolutely loved it.
I then went on then become the Support Supervisor in late 2014. I was quickly promoted becoming Care Supervisor at the beginning of 2015. In April 2018 I became the Care Manager here.
My goal is to continue to provide, excellent, person centred and compassionate care. I am extremely passionate about this company and feel that my experience working my way up the ladder will help me tremendously in my role as Care Manager.
As you can see from the testimonials below, we are a team who have progressed within the company. This in itself speaks volumes about our passion here at Bluebird Care. Continued professional development is extremely important to me and my team. I am proud of the team we have here at Bluebird Care and couldn’t be happier to be able to represent such a wonderful, caring bunch of people.
When you telephone the office it will usually be me that you speak to. My role is to organise the customer’s visits according to their preferences and plan the Care Assistants work. I have worked at Bluebird Care for over 10 years and Im a safe pair of hands within the business. I know our customers and team well and really enjoy the challenges every new day brings.
My work is core to the smooth day to day running of the business and the delivery of reliable, safe and consistent care. I enjoy speaking to lots of different people and I find helping people very rewarding. I love making a difference every day to the quality of people's lives.
I have worked in the care industry for 12 years and joined Bluebird Care Leeds North in June 2014 as a care worker. Whilst at Bluebird Care Leeds North I have completed my NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Health and social care, allowing me to gain recognised qualifications whilst continuing to gain experience working out in the community.
In November 2017 I accepted the role of care supervisor which involves setting up new care packages and putting care plans in place as well as carrying out risk assessments and customer reviews.
I love this industry as I like meeting new people and thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team. I feel Bluebird Care Leeds North is a great place to work and am proud to be part of such a great team, who always put the customer first as part of a person centred approach.
Hi, I’m Lucy and I have worked for Bluebird Care for almost 3 years. I started with the business as a Care Assistant and was recently promoted to Care Champion.
As Care Champion, I take on additional responsibilities such as carrying out health and wellbeing checks, which is part of our Bluebird Care Assist service. I provide support to new members of our team to help them settle in and learn the role, I also support our office colleagues with admin and quality checks and review care plans with our customers.
I love my job because I get to see so many different people daily and make a difference to peoples’ lives.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband and wider family.

Doris is a one-year old miniature Dachshund and our resident Therapy and Office Dog. She loves to be around people and is a funny little character!
“Therapy dog” is a general term used to describe a dog that is used to benefit people in a therapeutic way. Office dogs are known to improve mood, decrease stress levels and even improve productivity and we do like to keep busy at Bluebird Care! She’s always a great point of conversation when we welcome visitors to our office.
Did you know?.... that petting a dog for just 15 minutes releases the feel-good hormones serotonin, prolactin, oxytocin and lowers the stress hormone cortisol.
Doris works hard in our business to keep smiles on people’s faces and is available to accompany our Care Assistants on visits to our customers homes or on gentle walks if our customers have a special love for dogs. Many people who require our services have kept their own pets in the past and although they may no longer be able to care for a pet of their own, they still love to spend time with animals.
