Comprehensive Training at Bluebird Care Darlington

At Bluebird Care Darlington, we offer extensive training that allows our customers to know they’re in the right hands.

Training holds utmost importance in health and social care as it guarantees safety for both carers and recipients of care while upholding premium quality. It instils essential behaviours, attitudes, skills, and knowledge required to deliver excellent, secure, person-centred care and equips carers to respond skilfully to emerging risks.

Regulatory bodies like CQC heavily emphasise the quality of training and the carers skills. Thus, ensuring the highest standards of training and demonstrating basic to advanced skills reflects positively on Bluebird Care.

Prioritising comprehensive training not only enhances Bluebird Care's image but also attracts competent staff. As our carers form the core of Bluebird Care, providing them with confidence and thorough preparation through high-quality training is imperative.

These types of training are made to make our carers feel confident and ready to start providing nothing but outstanding care to our customers. Notably, the training we provide is to give customers and their families peace of mind, as you can imagine, putting a loved ne into care can be hard, but knowing they’re fully trained to handle any situation, makes that decision much easier.

Imagine throwing a stone into a lake.  Good training will have a ripple effect.  Staff will be better trained.  This will lead to better care being delivered.  This in turn leads to improved compliance,   Greater staff retention and improved organisational reputation.

Complex Care Training with Abbey

Abbey, our Clinical Nurse Lead, provides Complex Care Training to our carers, so they’re able to learn about the areas of care which allow loved ones to be out of a hospital setting and be provided with outstanding complex care at home. Complex Care is an area of care which provides training and areas of expertise, whether it is changing a stoma or acquired brain injury awareness, Abbey can provide invaluable training that will leave you feeling confident and comfortable.

After not having delivered PEG feeding/medication for quite some time Abbeys knowledge and experience was really helpful, reminding me of the processes but also giving me more understanding of the whole peg process
