Celebrating Our Snow Heroes

Last week's heavy snow brought parts of Kent to a standstill, but that didn't stop our heroic Care Assistants braving the worst of the weather to make care visits to elderly and vulnerable people across the district.   Many Care Assistants walked for miles to ensure that their customers received care despite impassable roads and treacherous conditions and we are delighted to share a few examples of how our team went above and beyond!

We recently celebrated with Care Supervisor Inga, who has marked her sixth year with Bluebird Care. Inga was promoted to the position of Care Supervisor accross three offices in 2016 where she focuses her time on getting alongside our staff in the community to provide ongoing support to help them provide a premium service to our customers

Launching Free Visits To Customers In Hospital

We are proud to be launching a new service this week to provide companionship our customers should they be admitted to hospital, in order to help reduce feelings of isolation, loneliness and anxiety.   The new service, which will be delivered to customers free of charge, will see our Care Assistants visit customers when they are in hospital.
