Bluebird Care to create 25 new jobs across Sevenoaks this year!

Renowned local homecare provider, Bluebird Care Sevenoaks, is pleased to announce a whole host of new job opportunities for the year ahead. With their office based on St John’s Hill, Bluebird Care Sevenoaks already employ dozens of staff who provide care and support to older people, people with physical disabilities and adults with learning difficulties right across Sevenoaks.

Director, Ben Davie, commented: “Finding committed and passionate care assistants has been a challenge but the key factor in our success over recent years. We will only ever be as good as the staff we employ, and we believe our staff are excellent! They are always professional and have real empathy for the people they look after.”

Over the next six months, the organisation hopes to go even further by employing another 25 new care assistants, all of whom will take an active role in delivering high quality care. The demand for private home care is increasing due to an ageing population and limited public funding for social care.

Registered Manager, Becky Clements, added: The vulnerable members of our community need more support than ever before. The Coronavirus pandemic has meant that there is not only a decrease in physical health but also mental health, and an increase in the number of people living with loneliness and isolation. As a care provider it is often our care assistants who offer companionship and a friendly face for our customers who otherwise would spend a lot of time on their own.

Our team help to make a real difference to the lives of our customers. We are looking for individuals who want to give something back to their community and support those in need. We offer flexible working hours, as well as salaried contracts for those looking for fixed shift work, great rates of pay and opportunity for career progression. Why not give us a call for a friendly chat about what employment opportunities we may have for you?”

Bluebird Care has a national presence but each franchise is owned and operated at a local level. They specialise in providing high-quality care to mostly privately-funded people living with dementia, age-related frailty, physical disabilities and many other acute and chronic conditions. Bluebird Care work alongside their customers’ families, social services and the NHS to ensure each person receives the most appropriate care in order to maximise their quality of life.

Bluebird Care Sevenoaks offer a unique service of tailored care visits which range from anything from 15 minutes to full live-in support. As well as personal care they also help with meal preparation, management of medication, welfare checks, shopping, social trips, visits to the hospital and provide extra support for post-discharge customers.
