Our values

The standard of Health and Social Care in the UK often gets negative press, but not all care agencies and care services are the same. Bluebird Care Sevenoaks is for those who are not prepared to compromise when it comes to the quality of the Home Care that they, or their loved ones, receive.

We believe in good, old-fashioned service, which to us means giving our customers the same silky experience and attention to detail they would expect from any other high-end service industry. Our aim is to provide the bespoke, compassionate and responsive Care service that we would want for our own relatives.

We understand that our customers, or their advocates, have the prerogative of choice when it comes to selecting their Care Provider, and we believe that right extends to what their service covers, and how and when it is delivered.

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to Care; whether a commission is the occasional Home Help visit, on-going Care for an Elderly or vulnerable person, temporary Respite Care to cover a holiday, or even Live in Care, recognising that everyone has different needs and preferences is at the core of our person-centred approach.

Our Core Principles are:

  • Dignity and respect – we treat all individuals with dignity, respect, courtesy, compassion and empathy
  • Person-centred Care Planning – our Care Plans are created by experienced, observant, sensitive people who put the recipient of Care at the centre of the process
  • Insisting on high standards – we start by ensuring staff are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, properly valued and supported, and appropriately paid
  • Close oversight & Supervision – the delivery of our service is continuously monitored and evaluated to ensure that our Home Care matches expectations

We take our obligations a Care Provider and as an Employer extremely seriously, and we place the needs of our Customers and Employees at the heart of everything we do.
