Service Inspected And Rated Good

We are constantly striving for excellence and following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission, we are pleased to announce tha following a recent inspection, the service we provide and our customers reciev has been rated as good. The Care Quality Commission is the body that regulates healthcare services in the UK and they are responsible for the inspection of all care services in the UK.

Age UK West Kent Befriending Awarded Community Grant of £500

We are delighted to announce that Age UK West Kent Befriending Service has been awarded our community grant of £500 on 4th August 2016. The grant was awarded at a special tea party event that was held at Town Lock Day Centre, Tonbridge that was attended by 30 people including Cllr Mark Rhodes, Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling who has Age UK as one of his designated charities.

Every Visit Counts

The twin threats of an aging population and an increasingly fractured society means loneliness is a growing but under-appreciated problem in Britain. Loneliness does not just affect older people. It affects people of all ages but it disproportionately affects older people. Everyone has a role to play in making sure that older people in Britain do not suffer in silence. That is why Bluebird Care has decided to create this campaign. Care companies are in a unique position to help tackle this threat.
