Bluebird Care Southend & Rochford Tea Party

Published: 08/04/2022

Our customers, staff and family's come together for Easter themed fun!

All our Bluebird Care Southend & Rochford customers, staff and families were invited to our annual tea party on 6th April 2022, which this year was Easter-themed and held at the St Peters Church Community Hall, Westcliff-on-Sea 2-4pm.

Many of our customers are not able to drive, so to ensure no one missed out, our wonderful care team collected them each so they could join us.

With Easter decorated tables full of sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee, our guests were treated to live music from Laura Louis and her band ‘The Blarneys Cover Band’ Laura previously worked with the team as our care assistant and is now touring all over the country with her band, she also kindly made and donated the huge ring of balloons – thank you Laura!

For a bit of fun, each guest played ‘guess the baby’. Each member of staff provided a picture of themselves as a baby, which see lots of laughter at guessing who was who!

Whilst the grown-ups played the prize bingo, the children were taken into the garden for an Easter egg hunt and egg and spoon race – all winning bubbles, chocolates and Easter eggs – lots of laughter and possibly a bit of cheating!

What party wouldn’t be complete without a raffle! Our customers did not leave empty-handed!

With over 20 customers, care staff and 10 children, it was a party to remember. Everyone that came really enjoyed being out altogether under one roof, socialising and generally having a great time!

Kellie Woodcraft, our Registered Manager' gave a warm thank you to her team for always going above and beyond their call of duty, and to all our customers for joining us and making happy memories.
