We are delighted to introduce our Ageing Well Allies at Bluebird Care Northumberland South; pictured below - Sue (Care Manager), Allison (Supervisor) and Jane (Team Leader).

Ageing well allies are people who work with, volunteer for, or support older people to live well in their local community. The training provided is designed to give allies information and insight into the potential barriers older people can face as the grow old.

The training makes allies more knowledgeable and confident to be able to signpost individuals and their families or carers to appropriate services where they can get more in-depth support and information.

The ageing well programme works on the premises that helping older people to stay active, connected and well maintains individual well-being and quality of life.
