Customer Survey Results Are In!

It is a privilege for us to provide care support and every six months, we carry out a survey to support our ethos of listening to our customers and making sure that the care we provide is the best it can be. Our most recent survey results highlight that customers are very complimentary of the care they receive and quality of tasks our Care Assistants carry out.

Supporting International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2016

Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2016, which happens every year on 3rd December. The awareness day, sanctioned by the United Nations, is celebrated annually around the world. The purpose of the day is to increase awareness, as well as understanding and acceptance of persons with disabilities.

Bluebird Care Maidstone support Carers Rights Day 2016

Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting Carers Rights Day 2016, organised by Carers UK on Friday 25th November. Each year Carers Rights Day takes place to inform carers in local communities of their rights and how to get the help and support they need. This year’s theme is ‘Missing out? Know your rights as a carer’, to really encourage individuals to seek the support that they are entitled to and to make sure they know they are not alone.

Bluebird Care Maidstone support AF Aware Week 2016

This year Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting AF Aware Week 2016 which runs from the 21-27 November 2016, with the key message of Detect, Protect, Correct and Perfect. According to the AF Association Atrial Fibrillation is the most common irregular heart rhythm. Current figures show over 1 million individuals across the UK are affected, however this figure does not account for those who are yet to be diagnosed. AF Aware Week is about raising awareness of Atrial Fibrillation (AF).

Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting Self Care Week 2016

Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting this year’s Self Care Week which runs from 14-20th November and is organised by the Self Care Forum. The Self Care Forum is a UK organisation formed in 2011, with the aim of embedding self care into everyday life. The organisation offers support to individuals in taking better care of their health and is a resource to NHS organisations, local authorities and those within the voluntary sector.

Bluebird Care Maidstone support Ask Your Pharmacist Week 2016

This year Bluebird Care Maidstone is supporting Ask Your Pharmacist Week 2016 which runs from the 7 - 14th November, with the aim of raising awareness of local community pharmacy services. Ask Your Pharmacist Week provides a platform for pharmacy public awareness activities across the UK. This year the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) will have a stronger focus on digital assets to help support the awareness week.
