Meet the team
Bobby is the owner of Bluebird Care (Maidstone & Tonbridge)
Having a number of years' experience operating a residential care business, Bobby decided to enter into the provision of care at home.
"We pride ourselves in having a strong work ethic and having exceptional standards. We aim to provide professional care at home alongside a friendly, personal service to all the people we care for whilst maintaining good relationships with friends, relatives and the care managers of our customers. Our role is to manage and oversee the provision of domiciliary care whilst maintaining the high standards we are passionate about. We are a young and proactive team and our goal is to provide excellent care to individuals and give them confidence to live in their own homes while ensuring that our Care Workers are trained to the highest of standards. We are proud that we are a family run business but are part of a high quality network and brand such as Bluebird Care."
With over 14 years experience in healthcare, Clare brings a wealth of experience to the Gravesham & Dartford team.
Before working in care, Clare worked in retail and decided to transition because of the positive work life balance a career in care gave. Clare's first position was as a Community Care Worker, during which time she completed her NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care.
Following this, Clare gained experience as a Care Worker in residential, nursing, hospice and supported living settings before progressing onto a role as a Risk Assessor for a London based care company.
Clare first joined us as a Care Supervisor and worked in the positions Registered Care Manager at our Maidstone and Gravesham & Dartford Offices along with Training Manager before leading the operational side of the business as operations Manager and then Operations Director.
Clare is passionate about delivering quality homecare services and developing high quality standards. She believes in investing in each individual team member and providing the support they need to progress in their roles.
Having worked in roles from Care Assistant to NVQ Assessor and over 15 years experience in healthcare, Mel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Bluebird Care Maidstone team.
Mel's childhood dream was to become a nurse however after starting a family, she made the decision to pursue a career in healthcare as a carer and has never looked back.
She firmly believes in career development and has a number of qualifications including an NVQ 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care along with NVQ Assessor and QA awards.
Mel chose to join the Bluebird Care Maidstone team because of our excellent reputation and is passionate about delivering premium quality homecare services throughout the local area.
In her spare time, Mel fills her hours playing mum to two wonderful children!
After the birth of her wonderful daughter, Emma started her career in care as a Care Assistant for a provider in Kent because the hours suited her childcare.
Emma first the joined the Bluebird Care team as Care Coordinator, but has also gained experience as Care Supervisor. She has completed her NVQ2 and loves being able to make a difference through her role.
In her spare time, Emma loves entertaining her daughter and simply 'being mum'.
Working in care is very personal for Norna, who enjoys being able to make sure people have all the support that they need to remain independent at home.
She has worked in care since 2016 and prior to working for Bluebird Care Maidstone, volunteered at the nightingale hospital in London.
In her spare time, Norna enjoys relaxing with her family, boxing, cycling and doing make up!
Kerry chose to work in care because she has always been passionate about people and had a passion for supporting adults to help them remain independent.
Prior to joining the Bluebird Care Maidstone team as a Care Assistant, Kerry gained nine years of experience within childcare. She chose to apply for the role with Bluebird Care because of our good reputation and the way that our staff are able to progress in their career.
Kerry particularly loves being able to meet new people and continually learn as well as being in a role where you are not in an office all day every day.
