Celebrating those who are in with the bricks

Treating the team to a meal at The Alchemist to celebrate their long service with Team Blue 💙

As we all know recruitment is notorious in the home care sector, and that is why it is extremely important to retain your team. By retaining your team not only does it cut the recruitment costs but most importantly it means that you have a team a better continuity of care. This is something that is important to us; having a great continuity of care means that our team can establish and grow strong relationships making our customers feel more at ease and making it easier to see when there are changes in our customers behaviour.

When the team join us, we give them in-house training manager and it allows the team to understand and learn the Bluebird Care Way. By having a team that is committed to Bluebird Care means that they have the expertise to ensure that our customers only receive the very care and can help mentor our new starts.

Having a team with longevity is something extremely important to us and that’s why we celebrate those who stay part of Team Blue. Our celebration starts from their 1st anniversary, we celebrate with incremental sickness and holidays. When the team reach their 5th anniversary with us, they are sent Care Friends points to allow them to treat themselves to something nice.

After the team has been with us for 10 years, we get to celebrate with a lunch out together. A fantastic opportunity to get together and enjoy some great food and drinks whilst reminiscing about how good the years have been.

This year we got to celebrate on the 11th of February at The Alchemist. A fantastic afternoon celebrated by all.

A huge congratulations to the following:

Tracie Stevens, Angela Young, Mei Chen, Ishbel Mullen, Pete Jenson, Hazel Storey and Kaleigh Wood.

We hope you enjoyed your lunch out. Keep up the hard work and dedication team, we can’t wait to continue celebrating with you.
