A mistle toast to the holiday season

We LOVE Christmas so we had a week full of festive fun.

Anybody who knows Bluebird Care Edinburgh, should know that we absolutely LOVE Christmas. In fact, we celebrate half Christmas every year in June. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so why not do it twice.

This December, we decided to make quite a week of it and get involved in lots of festive fun. Our shenanigans started with Christmas Jumper Day, and we saw lots of great jumpers and if you speak to our director, Jane, you’ll know that she can probably wear a Christmas outfit the entire month of December and not run out.

To make Christmas Jumper day that bit more fun, we got lots of festive props. The team in the field came in to collect and managed to have some fun with our customers, we even got to see some lovely photos where our customers were truly in the festive spirit. You can probably imagine that the office team loved getting involved as well, challenging each other as to who can create the funniest pictures.

We also decided this year that we were going to host a Christmas get together where we could run through business performance, our vision for 2024 and gain feedback on our plans. We found this really insightful, and it was really great to have open communication amongst all members of the team, this is definitely something that we will continue on a quarterly basis.

Once this was wrapped up, the team were able to let the hair down as we had a surprise visit from Santa, and the team were able to do Secret Santa and enjoy a nice Chinese and a few drinks before the office closed for Christmas.
