Jane and John invest in their teams health and wellbeing by welcoming Natalie Alexander, distinguished author and life coach to the team.
At Bluebird Care Edinburgh, prioritising Health and Wellbeing is ingrained in our ethos. Last year, we committed to enhancing our existing practices by evaluating current initiatives and seeking input from our team on potential improvements.
Our research revealed a surprising discrepancy: while we believed health and wellbeing to be paramount, only 69% of our team shared this sentiment. Moreover, many were unaware of existing initiatives.
Determined to change this, we took decisive action. Our team pours their hearts and souls into providing top-tier home care to our customers. Recognising their indispensable contributions, we are dedicated to ensuring their well-being.
In launching our revamped health and wellbeing program, we recognised the importance of having a seasoned mentor who could serve as a pillar of support and knowledge for our team. Hence, we're thrilled to welcome Natalie Alexander, a distinguished author and life coach with over two decades of expertise in various facets of health and wellbeing.
Natalie will commence her role at the end of February, engaging with each team member to discern their needs and desires, while also spearheading initiatives such as monthly newsletters, group sessions, and wellbeing Wednesdays. Most importantly, she'll serve as a knowledgeable resource for any health and wellbeing concerns.
Her inaugural session will focus on managing anxiety, acknowledging the emotional impact of the pandemic on our sector and aiming to destigmatise discussions surrounding anxiety.
We eagerly anticipate Natalie's arrival, confident that her wisdom and positive energy will inspire transformative changes within our organisation.
