We specialise in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes. We offer a unique service of personalised care visits from check-in visits to full live-in support.

The whole of our care team receive the best quality mandatory training with Bluebird Care. Training, ongoing and refresher is the key to our success as a quality provider. We know that giving your staff the best tools to do their job gives them the best knowledge to ensure that every individual we care for has the best outcome.

Our management team offer the best pastoral support for our care team to ensure that we keep up with our outstanding reputation. 

Lynne Churchill


Lynne Churchill became the new Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff South and The Vale. Lynne’s background is in Sales and Marketing and Employee benefits working in the corporate world alongside partner blue chip companies throughout the UK. Implementing marketing strategies to deliver the best brand for those companies.  Over the last 27 years Lynne has gained a wealth of experience in this area working in Healthcare, Advertising and Recruitment. Lynne will harness her experience to move the business forward to the next level. In her spare time Lynne enjoys cycling, walking and reading.

Julie Pope

Registered Care Manager

Julie Pope has been with the company since its outset in 2009.  Julie is a highly experienced Registered Manager who holds an NVQ level 4 in Management along with a QCF level 5 in Health & Social Care. Julie has worked in the care sector for many years starting with the NHS before moving to a large charitable organisation and then into the private sector.
At Bluebird Care Julie is responsible for the day to day running of the agency along with recruitment and quality control. Julie has a passion for providing high quality care and meeting the needs of our customers.

Roxanne Porter

LEAD Supervisor Cardiff and The Vale

Roxy started with Bluebird Care Cardiff South and The Vale in February 2021 with the sole purpose of increasing the quality of care that we deliver in Cardiff and The Vale by managing a team of 3 Care Supervisors. Roxy has vast experience in care having worked in the Care Sector for over 10 years. She brings a wealth of care, systems and IT experience with her. Roxy is currently studying for her Level 4 in Health and Social Care Leadership. 

Karen Razaq

Payroll Officer

Karen is our Payroll and accounts officer. Karen has worked in Accounts for many years and spent most of her career working in care joining us from another Care Provider this year. Although having a Masters Degree in Psychology, Karen is a stickler for dilligence and accuracy.

Katie Barnfield-Lake

Administration Assistant

Katie is administration support for our entire team. She supports all services including Live In Care, Domiciliary Care and Respite Care. She has been with Bluebird Care for 5 years and is a whiz with IT. Katie's main role is to organise monthly induction and refresher training, implement the recruitment process, customer and employee surveys, arrange birthdays and organise events, the list is endless. 

We hope one day Katie will be one of our business operations manager.

Sharon Lloyd

Care Coordinator

Sharon has worked for Bluebird Care as the Care Coordinator for the Vale since November 2018. Sharon’s main roles are rostering and liaising with Social Workers to ensure our customers receive quality Care on time when they need it. Sharon has worked in the Care Industry for over 20 years in various roles, previously as a registered manager and planning officer. Sharon enjoys working in Care and couldn’t think of a more rewarding Career.
