Lynne Churchill became the new Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff South and The Vale. Lynne’s background is in Sales and Marketing and Employee benefits working in the corporate world alongside partner blue chip companies throughout the UK. Implementing marketing strategies to deliver the best brand for those companies. Over the last 27 years Lynne has gained a wealth of experience in this area working in Healthcare, Advertising and Recruitment. Lynne will harness her experience to move the business forward to the next level. In her spare time Lynne enjoys cycling, walking and reading.
Registered Care Manager
Julie Pope has been with the company since its outset in 2009. Julie is a highly experienced Registered Manager who holds an NVQ level 4 in Management along with a QCF level 5 in Health & Social Care. Julie has worked in the care sector for many years starting with the NHS before moving to a large charitable organisation and then into the private sector.
At Bluebird Care Julie is responsible for the day to day running of the agency along with recruitment and quality control. Julie has a passion for providing high quality care and meeting the needs of our customers.
Katie has worked for Bluebird Care for almost 3 years and first started as an Admin Assistant. Katie is now responsible for the running of Payroll and Invoicing for both Cardiff South & The Vale.
Jayne has been with Bluebird Care since August 2012 and started with us as a care worker and through her hard work she quickly progressed to a Care Supervisor, then Care Coordinator, then Lead Care Co-rdinator in 2016. In the New Year of 2018 Jayne became our Planning Officer. Jayne is responsible for leading and developing the team to ensure that care and support is delivered on time and in line with customer’s wishes. Jayne has a passion for using the latest technology to ensure a quality service.
In her spare time Jayne and her partner enjoy fishing and spending time with their Grandchildren. Jayne is also in the process of renovating her house.
Sharon has worked for Bluebird Care as the Care Coordinator for the Vale since November 2018. Sharon’s main roles are rostering and liaising with Social Workers to ensure our customers receive quality Care on time when they need it. Sharon has worked in the Care Industry for over 20 years in various roles, previously as a registered manager and planning officer. Sharon enjoys working in Care and couldn’t think of a more rewarding Career.
Lead Care Supervisor
Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously managed a residential home for people with Learning Disabilities. Emma initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. In October 2016, Emma was successful in gaining the post of Lead Supervisor. Emma’s role is to lead and develop a team of supervisors and make sure work is allocated fairly. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Emma manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan.
In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
