My mum suffers from dementia and over the past few years it has been getting worse. The carers were lovely towards her. The carers did not have an easy time. One of the carer’s in particular, SH that went the extra mile. SH who could not have treated mum better if it had been her own mum. Mum had to go eventually into a care home for her own safety. It had only been possible for her to stay at home for so long because of the good care of Bluebird who have looked after mum. Thank you to all the carers who have looked after Mum. Thank you to all at Bluebird for the help and kindness you have shown to mum.

Can I thank the staff for all your kindness and help over the last few years and I know that my Mum has been very happy with the care she has been given. I really hope that she settles into her new flat and that the extra care team are as good as the Bluebirds.
We first used Bluebird care to help our mum cope at home after she had undergone hip replacement operation. The care provided helped our mum recover well and was especially important due to her being in the early stage of dementia. They also recently helped her when she was recovering from a cancer operation and accompanied her to regular radiotherapy sessions. Their care has been excellent at all times and communication on a regular basis is helpful.
My mam recently started a care package with Bluebird Care and I am writing to say how pleased she is with the standard of care given. The carers are never dashing to get away and nothing seems to be a bother to them. They often stay and have a friendly chat and show willing to help in whatever way is needed.
All told we are very satisfied with all that Bluebird Care is doing – keep up the good work.
Could I request that D, P and D (carers) do my care visits as many nights as possible. Because I feel really comfortable with these girls and they all seem as if they go that extra mile. Regarding the way I feel when they come into my house, it can be the highlight of my day. Yours gratefully,
