Fiona Williams, director of operations at Bluebird Care, was recently interviewed by The Guardian on how Bluebird Care is identifying the care sector’s future leaders. Bluebird Care has developed a clear career pathway to encourage frontline staff to pursue a career in the sector. Fiona commented:
 
“One of the issues the sector faces is that far too often staff can progress into a leadership role without having specific leadership and people management training. As a result, the company is working to provide bespoke leadership courses for its managers.”
