Carers Trust have launched ‘Britain's Best Breakfast’, their annual national campaign with the aim to raise money to help them with their work in supporting unpaid carers and giving them a break from their caring role. They want to encourage people to “wake up to the issue of caring.”

Carers Trust is the UK’s biggest charity for carers. It works to improve support, services and recognition for anyone that is living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a relative or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems.

According to Carers Trust, 1 in 10 people in the UK is a carer, that’s almost 7 million people. So even if you aren’t a carer yourself, it’s likely you know someone who needs the support of Carers Trust.

The idea behind ‘Britain’s Best Breakfast’ is for you to invite your friends and family to join you for breakfast this year and raise money for Carers Trust.  They are encouraging people to have fun, eat breakfast together, and raise money for a great cause!
