Bluebird Care Coleraine launches new Holiday Care service

Bluebird Care Coleraine have officially launched their new Holiday Care service. Their new offering provides care and support services to visitors staying in the area on holiday or short breaks who may require assistance during their stay.  

Bluebird Care Coleraine have officially launched their new Holiday Care service. They held an event to raise awareness of the unique service, which took place on Tuesday 12^th March in The Causeway Hotel in Bushmills. Their new offering provides care and support services to visitors staying in the area on holiday or short breaks who may require assistance during their stay.
 
The team held a morning event and invited a number of local accommodation providers from hotels, holiday parks, B&B’s, and local holiday letting agents. Attendees included representatives from the Causeway Chamber of Commerce and Causeway Coast & Glens Council Tourism team, who were there to find out more about the Holiday Care service.
 
The guests heard from Sue MacLaughlin, Director of Bluebird Care Coleraine and Karen Sweeney, Bluebird Care Coleraine’s Business Development Manager. They spoke about their new service and their hope to break down barriers for people with care needs which can prevent them staying away from home. They want their service to enable people to take time away for a weekend break or holiday, attend occasions such as weddings, stay with family or friends, or visit their holiday home more regularly. 
 
Sue MacLaughlin, Director of Bluebird Care Coleraine, said:
 
“We have recognised the need to diversify our care and support services to enable people with additional care needs to enjoy a break away without worry and stress about how they are going to manage whilst they are away.  We hope that our Holiday Care service will open opportunities for more people to stay away from home knowing that all their needs can be met in safe and caring hands”.
