Julie celebrates 10 years with Bluebird Care

We are celebrating a special milestone for Business Development Lead Julie Gambrill.
Bluebird Care celebrated the 10-year work anniversary of Business Development Lead, Julie Gambrill on 4th September.
Julie began her time working with Bluebird Care as the Business Development Manager and has supported the company, enabling them to flourish, thanks to her dedication, expertise and guidance. Over the 10 years, Julie has risen through the ranks starting as the Business Development Manager and reaching her current role as the National Business Development lead.
Julie has a deep and sincere interest in the care sector. This has driven her success in her own personal career and for Bluebird Care too. She decided to take on her role 10 years ago when Bluebird Care offered her a job, providing her a step-up from the role she had with a different organisation in the home care sector.
Talking about what she enjoys most about her job, Julie Gambrill said: “No day is the same, even after 10 years! It keeps me motivated knowing that I will come across a broad range of different tasks and challenges throughout the day, and it is extremely rewarding when I have overcome and completed them.”
Julie Gambrill is exceptional in her role because she is passionate and finds motivation watching how the business has developed over the last decade. When she first joined, across the business there were just 30 trading offices – now Bluebird Care have over 200.
The head office team has also evolved; initially they had a small team of around eight people at the Franchise Support Centre (FSC), however Bluebird Care currently have 30 people spanning over several departments.
Julie’s dedication to her job is also rooted in collaboration and she loves working with the team at Bluebird Care.
Julie said: “I have learnt so much along the way from all our business owners, who come from the top of their field, in every background you can think of.
“In addition to this, the franchise support team is the best, the breadth of knowledge and experience is amazing, and the mutual support from all goes a long way to ensuring we all stay sane!
“There is something unique about Bluebird Care which I haven’t experienced anywhere else; both at FSC and in the Network, the passion of everyone at Bluebird Care goes unrivalled at anywhere else I have ever worked.”
