June is Summer Health month at Bluebird Care
This June is Summer Health month at Bluebird Care! We want to share our top tips for helping each other through the hotter months.
Although we all look forward to the summer months, it can be a difficult time of year for the elderly and vulnerable. We want to raise awareness of the impact the heat can have and to share our top tips for helping each other through the hotter months.
We will be sharing a series of top tips to help make the summer heat a little more bearable for those who may have difficulty and asking our teams aceoss the country to share their top tips on how to #KeepYourCool this summer. If you would like to get involved, you can print off this graphic and ask your teams to write down their favourite ways to help keep cool, take a photo or video of them reading out their tip, and share it on social media. Be sure to tag Bluebird Care (UK) so we can add it to our Facebook album!
Other ways you could get involved this month:
- Hold an ‘ice cream party’ and buy lots of ice creams and lollies for your staff and customers on a hot day.
- Offer Bluebird Care branded sunglasses, temperature cards and water bottles to your teams.
- Set up a ‘cool corner’ in a shaded area in your office with a fan, cool drinks and other items to help your team cool down if they have become too hot outside.
- Any other ideas, feel free to get creative!
If you do any of the above please send us some photos and we will share them across our Bluebird Care UK social media platforms.
