Directors Statement Regarding Blueboard Care

Kevin McCormack, Director of Bluebird Care Mid Essex has released a statement regarding a local negative competitor trading under the name "Blueboard Care".

Dear stakeholders of Bluebird Care Mid Essex,


I am writing in my capacity as the owner and director of Bluebird Care in Mid and West Essex - a local care at home provider that has been operating in Essex and East London for 10 years. Our Mid Essex office was recently awarded the Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission which reflects our passion for care and our commitment to providing the highest quality home care services, so that our customers can remain in the comfort and safety of their own homes for as long as possible.

As you may already be aware, there is another care provider in the local area with the name “Blueboard Care”, and in recent weeks we have received a large number of calls and complaints as a result of the confusion between both organisations.

Several members of the public have been in touch with our offices with specific reference to the care they, or their loved ones have been receiving from Blueboard Care. I therefore felt it would be helpful to bring this issue to your attention, and to take this opportunity to reintroduce you to Bluebird Care Mid Essex.

Given the two names are very similar, I understand the confusion is somewhat inevitable. However, the issue has begun to cause some reputational damage to the local Bluebird Care brand, and I wanted to make sure that the local community understood that Bluebird Care and Blueboard Care are very much two separate entities. We are in no way affiliated with Blueboard Care.
