Inclusion at Induction 2020

Induction is a great time for new Bluebirds to get to together and support each other through their training, meet their managers... and also our customers!

Social inclusion by definition is about making all groups of people feel included and valued within their society or community and here at Bluebird Care we are very passionate about making people feel included. It has many positives such as; being able to create Meaningful friendships, an Increased appreciation and acceptance of individual differences, Increased understanding and acceptance of diversity and a heightened strength of Respect for all people. Bluebird care not only is inclusive of our Bluebird team, but also our amazing customers. A wonderful example is the gentleman in these photos. We support him daily to do the things he loves and one of those things is to talk about his life, his recovery, how he believed in himself to get better and do better, to the point now where he can do things for himself, he even ran a marathon! A great part about all of this is that he wants to share his experience with others to inspire them and show people that life can be tough, but having the determination, strength and belief in yourself can really make a difference. Being inclusive means that we are not only making a difference to peoples lives, our customers are too!
