Compliments and appreciations for our wonderful care staff...

Many thanks to Gloria Merrifeld for being such a fantastic colleague and a wonderful Carer. She helped a team member this week without question or second thought and I have had lovely feedback from one of our Truro customer’s wife who says that Gloria is ‘simply marvellous!’

A big thanks goes to the team who supported one of our Truro customers so well over the past few months, and particular thanks to Julie Burt who cared for her for several years and who has supported the family so well since our customer’s passing.
 
Well done to Sarah Jones who was shortlisted for the ‘Unsung Hero’ Award at the first Cornwall Care & Support Awards held at the Eden Project on Friday night. Congratulations on your nomination Sarah!
 
We received an email from the daughter of one of our Live-In customers, she wanted us all to know how grateful the family are for the excellent care and support that their father receives from Ann Prowse and Gill Laidlaw.
 
Melissa received a wonderful compliment about the Camborne team from a customer’s son, he said our carer’s are fantastic and they go above and beyond their role as a care worker. Well done all!
 
Huge thanks to Sharon Tomlinson who has helped to cover so many shifts with our supported living customer in St Erth – it is very much appreciated and we are pleased to report that the CPN and Social Worker both feel that she has made incredible progress since returning home.
