Training programme for new Care Assistants

All of our Care Assistants undertake in-depth training, this covers subjects such as professional boundaries, person-centred care and a combination of practical and written assessments.
As part of the Induction we deliver the following training courses to each and every one of our Care Assistants:
Introduction to Bluebird Care
Medication Awareness
Basic Life Support
Moving and Handling.
Our Care Assistants also complete the Care Certificate, and also receive regular supervision to ensure that they are competent and confident to deliver the highest quality care.
This week Senior Supervisor Carolyn has been training our new Care Assistants Anna and Rachel, Carolyn has over 27 years experience within caring roles, and as Senior Supervisor here at Bluebird Care Macclesfield she has vast experience with our customers. Through the training programme Carolyn aims to deliver training for Care which is always person-centred, with our customers dignity and privacy its core.
