Meet The Team - Neelum

In our meet the team series, we are delighted to introduce you to Neelum, for whom working in care is a very personal thing to do following the support she provided to a family member.

Neelum provided support to her father for five years following a stroke and as he had cancer. She did the amazing thing of giving up work to make sure that he was cared for!

Before working for Bluebird Care, Neelum worked as IPS Security at Heathrow; checking people's bags before they boarded a flight, however found that this was not fulfilling so chose to apply for a role with Bluebird Care!

It was the experience of caring for her father that inspired Neelum to want to work as a professional Care Assistant.

Neelum sees her late father in some of her customers and it reminds her of the smile on her late father's face that makes her happier than anything she has ever felt!
