Meet the team
Our Hounslow Bluebird Care Team consists of company owner Sai Visakan, Registered Care Manager Halina Caswell, our fantastic office team who support our customers and staff and our friendly Care Assistants who are out delivering excellent high quality care to customers in their own homes all 365 days of the year.
Sai is the Managing Director for Bluebird Care Hounslow & Chiswick and is incredibly passionate about delivering high quality homecare services. He has a heart for care and head for business that drives him in leading the Bluebird Care team.
Having previously worked in IT for big firms such as Fujitsu and GAM (Global Asset Management), he is particularly enthusiastic about technology and how it could change the lives of people for the better.
Sai has always had a heart for serving those in need and prior to Bluebird Care, he met this through regular volunteering in activities such as helping provide meals for the homeless as well as social activities through charities and local councils.
Sai chose to venture into homecare after seeing the impact of poor care received by his own grandmother when she became ill.
His enthusiasm and dedication for providing high quality homecare drives him and he is the director of two successful Bluebird Care offices.
Operations & Registered Care Manager
Having worked in care for over 36 years, Halina brings a wealth of experience to the role of Operations & Registered Care Manager.
Halina first worked in healthcare at the age of 18, where she worked as a carer in a residential home. From this she progressed to the position of supervisor and deputy manager.
In 2003, Halina gained a teaching qualification and worked in a college as NVQ Assessor Verifier; also teaching Health & Social Care. Following this, she chose to join the Bluebird Care team because she was inspired by our approach to care provision.
Halina is passionate about the care our customers receive and investing in our staff through training. She is also a (the youngest) member of the Hounslow Patient Participation Group. She also oversees our office in Rother & Hastings.
In her spare time, Halina enjoys eating out, socializing, going to the theater and has even been known to run the London Marathon!
Tracey has always wanted to work in care and chose to do so after a number of years working in a corporate environment.
Care runs in the family for Tracey and with around 90% of the women working as nurses, she was also inspired through them.
Tracey started her career as a Care Assistant and then moved to the role of Care Coordinator for a number of different companies before joining the Bluebird Care team because of our reputation for quality.
In her spare time, Tracey enjoys nothing more than some ballroom and latin dancing!
Cindy has a personal experience of working in care as she provided support to her late mother-in-law. She has worked in health & social care for over ten years, so brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Cindy explained that with the elderly, it is nice to visit and assist people. She first chose to work in care professionally because of this!
Before joining the Bluebird Care team, Cindy worked in a hospital and the community as a nurse auxiliary. It is through these roles that she discovered how rewarding working in healthcare is.
For Cindy, working for Bluebird Care gives her the chance to get back into care after supporting her late mother-in-law and she particularly enjoys supporting our customers who are living with dementia!
Community Care Supervisor
Marina has over 13 years experience in homecare and first joined the Bluebird Care team as a Care Assistant.
She chose to work in homecare as opposed to a care home because of the way that it allows care to be provided with a truly person centred, not rushed approach.
After taking a short career break to raise her three children, Marina joined our team after seeing a job advert on Twitter. She holds an NVQ level two in Health & Social Care and level two in Principles of End of Life Care.
Marina enjoys her role because of the way she is able to provide new and existing Care Assistants the support that they need to excel in their roles.
Tracy has worked in healthcare since 2004 and gained experience in the roles of Care Assistant, Supervisor and Care Manager prior to taking a step of delivering training.
She is a qualified trainer; having completed her train the trainer course and believes that the best way to deliver training is face to face. This gives those attending the ability to ask questions and absorb what they have learnt.
In addition, Tracy's hands on experience means that she can pass on real life tips and experiences which bring the sessions to life!
Tracy explained that she ultimately loves delivering training as it does not really feel like work; it is more like having great fun every day!
