A care provider in the Royal Borough of Greenwich has won an award for being innovative.   Bluebird Care, based in William Barefoot Drive, scooped the Franchise Award for Innovation in the workingmums.co.uk Top Franchise Awards recently.   The award acknowledges those who have continued to evolve and develop.

Age UK’s ‘Men in Sheds’ project awarded first ever Bluebird Care Greenwich Community Grant

A weekly support group that supports retired Gurkhas and their wives has been awarded the first ever Bluebird Care Greenwich Community Grant. Greenwich-based Bluebird Care opened its doors 4 years ago, and ever since has been working hard to support other organisations across the borough, as well as providing a daily care service to local people.

Care provider launches round-the-clock service

Thanks to one local provider of homecare, older people who need around-the-clock care no longer need to leave the comfort of their own homes. Bluebird Care in the Royal Borough of Greenwich has introduced a new live-in care service, where staff live with customers in their own homes, for anything from two weeks to ongoing long-term care and support.

Bluebird Care Greenwich is supporting the Stroke Association’s Make May Purple campaign

This May Bluebird Care Greenwich is supporting the Stroke Association’s annual stroke awareness month, Make May Purple. The Stroke Association is the UK’s leading stroke charity who strongly believe strokes can and should be prevented, however this health challenge does not receive the attention or funding it requires. The organisation works directly with stroke survivors and their families, health and social care professionals and scientists and researchers.
