This year Bluebird Care Glasgow South are supporting Movember to help to raise awareness on men’s health.

The Movember Foundation is a global charity dedicated to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising £402 million and funding over 1,000 programmes focusing primarily on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

This campaign is designed to raise awareness on men’s health.
  • Moustaches in Movember
The campaign, Moustaches in Movember, entails starting clean shaven on November 1st, growing and grooming your moustache for the 30 days of Movember, which will, in return, raise funds and awareness for men's health.

3 members of staff at Bluebird Care Glasgow South, Director John Perry, Care Manager Norrie Webb and Nick Perry, HR Support are putting themselves forward for this month’s moustache-a-thon!

Commenting, co-owner of Bluebird Care Edinburgh & Glasgow South, John Perry said:

We are delighted to be supporting Movember this year. Movember is a national campaign with a difference, and incorporating the element of fun I think, makes a huge difference. Men’s health is not talked about often, and we here at Bluebird Care Glasgow South think it’s great to raise awareness and lift the taboo from this very important cause.”
