On the 25th of September we are helping to combat cancer by supporting Macmillan Cancer Support’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”.

Macmillan’s website makes the scale of this extremely challenging disease clear, “One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face.”

We are inviting our customers, staff past and present, friends and communities to join our team for a BIG coffee morning to raise funds to help Macmillan achieve their goal: to make sure no one faces cancer alone.

We will also be holding a tombola and a bake off competition on the day!

Director of Bluebird Care Glasgow South, John Perry, said:

We will be hosting a coffee morning at our Glasgow South office to help Macmillan support people with cancer. We will be providing delicious cake and plenty of coffee so we can get together, catch up with friends, meet new friends and raise funds for Macmillan. As Macmillan say, cancer affects more than those with cancer, it also affects their families and friends too. We want to help as many people as we possibly can, so we warmly invite anyone to join us for a good chat, and we encourage you to come along and try our scrumptious coffee and cakes.”
Our “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” will take place from 2pm to 4.30pm at the Bluebird Care Glasgow South office. For more information please call Bluebird Care Glasgow South on 0141 638 0167.
