Chris is a professional and trusted leader that is passionate about delivering a rewarding service which has the ability to enhance and enrich people’s lives. Chris has over 20 years’ retail management experience, working within market leaders and developing a customer first style and approach. He has lived locally in Warwickshire all his life and enjoys the variety and excitement that Coventry, as a City of Culture, offers.   

Chris talks about his passion for customer service and providing care in your home: 

Hi I’m Laura and I’m Bluebird Care Coventry’s Registered Manager.

I have 15 years experience in the Health and Social Sector ranging from residential and community settings, to hospital settings including mental health support.

I have been with Bluebird Care Coventry since it opened, starting as a Field Care Supervisor to Care Coordinator and now Registered Manager.

Customer service and a positive experience for all is really important to me. I know each of our customers well and will always advocate for them!

I joined the Bluebird Care Team in order to deliver and promote a high level of person-centred care and support, that is empowering and respectful – Just like our customers deserve!

As Registered Manager, I am able to utilise my knowledge and experience to empower new and continuing care experts within their role to ensure our high standards are met.

I am always available to our team, customers and their loved ones for support and guidance.

I have cared for and supported vulnerable people throughout my 9-year career in care. Over that time, I have gained lots of experience, working in a range of Residential and Nursing homes as well as supporting people in the community within the comfort of their own homes. 

I love my job and thrive from caring for others! My role is extremely rewarding as I support our customers and team members to provide an excellent level of service that everyone can be proud of.

I have been supported and given lots of opportunities to grow in my career, successfully completing national qualifications in care and enhanced, specific training on Dementia and Medication. I enjoy having the opportunity to share my knowledge, passion and experience to help others grow.
