Chris is a professional and trusted leader that is passionate about delivering a rewarding service which has the ability to enhance and enrich people’s lives. Chris has over 20 years’ retail management experience, working within market leaders and developing a customer first style and approach. He has lived locally in Warwickshire all his life and enjoys the variety and excitement that Coventry, as the 2021 City of Culture, offers.
Chris talks about his passion for customer service and providing care in your home:
I am delighted to deliver a service that can have a real positive impact within the community and on people’s lives. By ensuring the customer is at the heart of every decision, we are able to be a strong and trusted provider, delivering the highest level of care to all. We work alongside our customers, helping them build their bespoke care plan, promoting independence and allowing everyone to stay in the warmth and safety of their own home.
Carolyn’s passion is to bring excellent service and care for customers in their own home. Before stepping into a career providing care services Carolyn trained to be an optician at the City & Islington College and later moved into retailing optics. Having spent almost 20 years of my career in both the optical and dental industries in regional and national roles, I have gained a multitude of experience in recruiting, developing and retaining the best candidates for my customers. At Bluebird Care my passion is to deliver a customer service experience unique to community health and social care by improving the selection, career journey, training and benefits of their care team.
For too long the role of Care Assistant has been devalued. By ensuring we deliver the best training and offer ongoing career development our team are able to provide additional services to our customers, for example: RemindME Care and Bluebird Care Assist. This highlights to our customers and the larger healthcare community the true value of the Care Assistant role.
I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for the past 18 years.
I started my career in care as a support worker at a mental health hospital supporting adults who were detained under the Mental Health Act. I then worked for a large Charity supporting adults with Autism, as a senior support work/coordinator.
I then progressed to be a Registered Manger for a large Domically Company based in Cambridge, and then Registered Manager in Peterborough where I have worked for the last 11 years.
I have experience working with adults, children and customers with complex care needs.
I am passionate about the service I provide to my customers and strive to care for their needs and wishes. I feel the only way to achieve this is through my teams and colleagues, and as such focus on support and coaching to help them all be the best they can be at whatever they do.
I help everyone to maximise their potential.
Away from the office I’m a keen hiker with a love of the Lake District and its hills.I am very excited to have joined Blue Bird Care, I have been made to feel very welcome from the whole team.
I have worked in the health and social care sector for 15 years, ranging from working in hospital environments in mental health wards, homecare for senior care, adults with learning disabilities and children with mental health needs.
I am passionate about the care we provide, and our bespoke approach to each individual care needs is provided by our fully trained care team. Whilst already having various qualifications within the sector, I am now embarking on my NVQ level 5 in leadership and management and I am excited to be utilising my skills and being able to further my career. Being able to support my team, creating a great place to work and embark on their own careers, is really important to me, this in turn offers exceptional customer service which we are passionate about.

I started my career in the Health and Social care sector at 16 years of age. Following this I have progressed through various roles to a senior role here at Bluebird Care. I am excited to continue my career ensuring that a high quality care, comfortable and friendly working environment and outstanding customer service is delivered. Bluebird Care prioritises the customer, ensuring each care package whether it is home care or live-in care, is unique to the individual and carried out by our highly trained care assistants. I have been encouraged to be confident and grow within my role by the Directors and can already see a clear path of progression, this progression is something which lacked in previous job roles for me and that is why I am excited to be part of the team.
