Community activities breaking the cycle of isolation


Each and every Thursday and Friday we hold a group session where people come together to chat, eat cake and drinks tea or coffee. The sessions are 2-4pm and booking is recommended. There is no charge for the hub and it is run by our very experienced Carer and hub co-ordinator Nicola. You can be part of something fun and makes friends at the same time.



Every other Monday we run Rise Life, which is gentle armchair sports. This is a fun way to interact and have plenty of laughs, again refreshments are served. The sessions take place every other Monday at 2pm.


It is advisory to call and book any of the above sessions in advance to make that we have space for you.



Organised by Madeline & Colin Phillips, held in the United Free Church (Cowbridge) on 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month. Memory Jar runs between 2pm & 4pm. Its gives attendees a chance to talk, share memories, meet new fried, enjoy a range of activities in a caring and supportive atmosphere – and have fun.



Currently have groups running in four locations in South Wales; Barry, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and Penarth. Its an informal, relaxed group setting for singing songs together. 1st session there is nothing to pay, after that you will be asked to pay £7 per person which includes your refreshments. The first hour consists of informal group singing & the second hour consists of a variety of social activies.

Fridays from 10:30am-12:30am, Cowbridge Scout Hall (Cowbridge)
