Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead remember

Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead reflect about Remembrance Day

One hundred years ago, on November 11 1918, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions of men laid down their guns.

This was Armistice Day, the end of World War I.

A centenary after this event, Remembrance Day and World War I memorials still provide a time and place to remember and reflect on those who fought and fell in the conflict. For the most senior citizens among us.

At Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead we want to keep remembering those who fought not only in World Wars, but the more than 12,000 British Servicemen and women killed or injured since 1945.

Our Director George, says:

It's been 100 years since the end of World War l, it is amazing to think that two of our current customers lived through part of this horrendous war. It is easy to take for granted those things that most deserve our thoughts and gratitude, we will certainly be thinking this weekend.
