Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead support World Alzheimer's month

Published: 19/09/2018

Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is supporting World Alzheimer's month and will participate in an event which aims to raise awareness of Dementia to the local community.

Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead have been heavily involved in our local Dementia Action Alliance since its inception, nearly 3 years ago. The Camden Dementia Action Alliance was formed by a group of local people and organisations that share ideas, experiences and their expertise with the prime focus of enabling local people to live well with dementia and develop Camden into a dementia friendly community.

It is World Alzheimer's month this month so it is the fitting time to organise an event and spread the word about the amazing work Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead and Camden Dementia Action Alliance have done to date but also have planned.
The primary goal for the event is to invite as many people from our local community living with or supporting someone living with dementia to not only provide a fun and inclusive afternoon/evening but to talk, understand and learn what they believe we can do to advance and improve.

The event will take place on Thursday 20th September from 4pm to 8pm at Compton Lodge, 7 Hartley Rd, NW3 3BX.

The world of Dementia and Alzheimer is the focus and anyone is welcome.
